Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care within a welcoming nursing home in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf (CF39). You will assess residents' physical, emotional and social care needs, develop and review person-centred care plans, administer medication safely and work collaboratively with relatives and the wider multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents' nursing, health and wellbeing needs.
- Develop, implement and regularly review person-centred care plans.
- Administer medications safely in accordance with NMC guidelines.
- Deliver high standards of clinical nursing care.
- Support and supervise junior members of the nursing and care team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
- Promote dignity, independence and resident choice at all times.
- Maintain safe clinical practice and comply with relevant policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- No sponsorship available. Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous nursing experience within elderly care, nursing homes or similar healthcare settings is desirable.
- Experience providing person-centred nursing care within a nursing home environment.
- Confident undertaking assessments, care planning and medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
