Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a high-quality residential care home setting, delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to residents with a range of clinical needs. Based in Chorley, PR7, this service offers a welcoming and supportive environment with a strong focus on dignity, respect, and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with best practice and regulatory standards
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents
- Monitor residents’ health and respond to clinical changes appropriately
- Work collaboratively with carers, healthcare professionals, and families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
- Support and mentor junior staff members
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
- Promote a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the care home setting
Requirements
- No sponsorship available – must have the permanent right to work in the UK
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration
- Previous experience within a care home or similar clinical setting
- Experience in elderly care, dementia care, or general nursing
- Strong clinical skills including medication management and care planning
- Excellent communication and patient-centred approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable commute to Chorley or access to transport
