Introduction:
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a supported living service based in Bolton. This is a permanent leadership role offering a salary of £38,000 to £42,000 per annum, with full responsibility for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with complex needs while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of a supported living service supporting adults with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.
- Ensure the service operates in full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding legislation, health and safety requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Lead, support, and develop staff through effective supervision, appraisals, team meetings, and ongoing training.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance, documentation, and governance across the service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within supported living, domiciliary care, or a similar care setting.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and best-interest decision-making.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, and complex behaviours.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and external professionals.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and continuous service improvement.
