Introduction:
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a supported living service based in Oldham. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred support to adults with complex needs, while ensuring the service operates safely, effectively, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and overall management of a supported living service for adults with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding legislation, health and safety requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Lead, support, and develop staff through effective supervision, appraisals, team meetings, and training.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies, ensuring person-centred outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and governance across the service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and best-interest decision-making.
- Strong understanding of supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, and complex behaviours.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work confidently with families, professionals, and external agencies.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and continuous service improvement.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or senior leadership role within supported living or similar settings.
- Experience managing teams and working within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and service quality.
