Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Full-time or part-time hours available
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
- Extended hours on Tuesdays until 7:30pm
- Optional Saturdays: 8:30am–1:00pm
- Flexible scheduling to support personal commitments

Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Podiatrist to join a friendly, modern, and well-established practice in Lytham St Annes (FY8). Working within a supportive and collaborative team, As a Podiatrist, you’ll provide a range of high-quality podiatry treatments in a professional clinical setting known for its patient-centred ethos. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver routine foot and nail care, including corns, callus, cracked heels, and vascular checks
- Assess and manage nail conditions such as thickened, mis-shapen, or damaged nails
- Treat foot and lower limb pain, including plantar fasciitis and heel pain
- Perform minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenail surgery
- Conduct diabetic foot assessments and monitoring
- Complete biomechanical assessments and gait analysis
- Fit orthotics and insoles tailored to patient needs
- Administer treatments for conditions such as athlete’s foot, fungal nails, verrucae, and bunions
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes and documentation
- Collaborate with local GPs and NHS podiatry teams when making referrals
Requirements
- Degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification
- HCPC registration (or eligibility to register)
- Strong clinical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Friendly, patient-focused approach with great communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and modern podiatric practice
- Comfortable using digital systems and maintaining accurate notes
- Open to both newly qualified and experienced podiatrists
- Willingness to contribute ideas and engage with new treatments
- Suitable for: Podiatrist, Foot Care Specialist, HCPC Podiatrist, Chiropody Professional
