Salary
£45,000 per annum FTE, dependent on experience + benefits.

Job Description
As a Podiatrist, you will join an established private healthcare clinic providing high-quality allied health services in Basildon, Essex (SS16). As an HCPC Registered Podiatrist, you will assess, diagnose and treat a broad range of lower-limb and foot conditions while delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
You will manage a varied caseload that may include general podiatry, diabetic foot care, nail and skin conditions, heel and foot pain, sports injuries, biomechanics and orthotics. You will also have opportunities to develop your knowledge of specialist treatments, including Swift verruca treatment, fungal nail laser, shockwave therapy and foot-scanning technology.
The role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Podiatrists, with mentoring, funded CPD and long-term opportunities to specialise, progress into leadership or learn more about private-practice operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat a varied caseload of general and specialist podiatry patients
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care within a private-practice setting
- Create appropriate treatment plans and ongoing patient-management programmes
- Support patients with education, prevention and long-term foot-health management
- Provide care for conditions relating to diabetic foot health, biomechanics, orthotics, nail and skin concerns, pain and sports injuries
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and confidential patient records
- Build trusted, long-term relationships through clear and compassionate communication
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support excellent clinical outcomes
- Maintain HCPC professional standards, clinical governance and safe working practices
- Develop specialist skills through funded CPD, mentoring and in-house training
Requirements
- Permanent right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.
- BSc in Podiatry or an equivalent recognised qualification, with current HCPC registration.
- Suitable for newly qualified and experienced Podiatrists.
- Interest or experience in general podiatry, with enthusiasm for developing specialist clinical skills.
- Able to assess, diagnose, treat and manage a varied clinical caseload safely and effectively.
- Compassionate, positive and patient-focused, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative clinic team.
