Job Description
As a Pelvic Health Specialist Physiotherapist, you will deliver specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with pelvic health needs in a premium King's Cross studio. Your caseload may include obstetric, gynaecological, urological and male pelvic health presentations, including continence, prolapse, pelvic pain and bowel or sexual dysfunction. Based in the N1C area, you will work within a joined-up environment that brings physiotherapy, movement, clinical exercise and wellbeing services together.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat patients with pelvic health presentations
- Manage cases involving continence, prolapse, pelvic pain and bowel or sexual dysfunction
- Support patients across obstetric, gynaecological, urological and male pelvic health
- Complete internal examinations where clinically appropriate and within professional scope
- Develop individualised rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Deliver evidence-informed physiotherapy interventions and monitor progress
- Build and maintain a private-practice caseload
- Communicate clearly with patients and provide appropriate education and self-management guidance
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, Pilates instructors, clinical exercise practitioners and massage therapists
- Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold professional, safeguarding and health and safety standards
Essential Requirements
- You must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Recognised physiotherapy qualification and current HCPC registration
- Postgraduate or equivalent clinical experience in pelvic health physiotherapy
- Specialist knowledge across women’s health, men’s health or pelvic floor rehabilitation
- Confidence assessing and managing complex pelvic health presentations, including internal examination where appropriate
- Empathetic, professional and clear communication style
- Ability to work autonomously, build a caseload and contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team
