Employment Type
Permanent, part-time employed position working 2 to 3 days per week. The role follows a 43-week, term-time aligned working structure, with a preferred September 2026 start, although an earlier start may be available for the right candidate.
Salary
2 days per week: approximately £14,700 per annum
3 days per week: approximately £22,150 per annum
Salary is based on a 43-week term-time working structure with paid annual leave included.

Job Description
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will deliver therapy across a secondary special school in Harrow and clinic sessions in Stratford (E15). You will support children with autism spectrum condition (ASC), neurodevelopmental differences, sensory regulation difficulties, developmental delays, emotional regulation challenges and functional skills development needs.
This is a split school-based and clinic-based allied health position combining private healthcare and private education. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, SEND professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team while managing a varied paediatric caseload. The position offers an excellent setting for clinicians who value relationship-led practice and want to build meaningful, longer-term therapeutic relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions across school and clinic settings in Harrow and Stratford
- Support children with sensory regulation, developmental and functional skill needs
- Provide appropriate support for children experiencing emotional regulation and sensory integration difficulties
- Plan therapy around the individual needs and development of children within the caseload
- Manage a varied paediatric caseload across school and clinic settings
- Work collaboratively with families, school staff and multidisciplinary professionals
- Contribute to EHCPs and therapy reports where required
- Contribute to therapy planning and appropriate clinical documentation
- Build strong, relationship-led therapeutic partnerships with children and their families
Essential Requirements
- You must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within Occupational Therapy
- Interest in paediatrics, neurodevelopment, SEND and supporting children and young people, with previous paediatric experience beneficial rather than essential
- Ability to support sensory, developmental, emotional regulation and functional skill needs across varied therapy environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a relationship-led, collaborative approach to therapy
- Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload and work effectively across the school setting in Harrow and clinic setting in Stratford
