Salary
£40,000 - £42,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience + benefits

Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Part-time role working 22.5 hours per week across 3 days
- Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break included
- Fully on-site role across two locations in Portsmouth
- 2.5 days per week in Portsmouth (PO1)
- 0.5 day per week in Portsmouth (PO3)
- Regular travel between sites required
- No weekend or late shift requirements
Job Description
As an Occupational Health MSK Physiotherapist, you will work within a well-established on-site occupational health service in Portsmouth, Hampshire (PO1) and (PO3), delivering high-quality musculoskeletal care across two workplace settings. This role offers a structured and purposeful environment where you can focus on clinical excellence without the pressures of private practice. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting employee health, safety, and rehabilitation, with the opportunity to influence workplace wellbeing and ergonomics. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate MSK assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans
- Classify MSK conditions in relation to workplace causation
- Produce clear and structured clinical reports following assessment and discharge
- Advise on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, and return-to-work planning
- Lead on-site rehabilitation programmes and exercise sessions
- Conduct DSE assessments and provide ergonomic recommendations
- Identify workplace hazards contributing to MSK conditions
- Collaborate with occupational health and SHE teams to improve workplace practices
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to reporting and outcomes tracking
- Support health promotion and employee wellbeing initiatives
Requirements
- Permanent right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist with a recognised Physiotherapy degree
- Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate experience
- At least 2 years specialising in MSK physiotherapy and biomechanics
- Proven ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat MSK conditions
- Excellent communication and patient-facing interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel between sites
