Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Full-time, 40 hours per week,
- Monday to Friday.
- Shifts typically follow a rota pattern across opening hours, with breaks provided in accordance with policy.
- Occasional overtime may be available depending on setting needs.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, high-quality early years nursery in Ealing. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development in a nurturing, child-led environment. Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
- Act as a Key Worker and build strong relationships with children and families
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity and learning
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all age groups
- Follow safeguarding procedures, DBS requirements and Ofsted standards
- Maintain accurate records, observations and assessments
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain high-quality practice
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence
- Contribute to room planning, team discussions and wider nursery initiatives
- Uphold health and safety, hygiene and risk assessment standards
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator or Childcare Practitioner
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements
- Positive, caring and proactive approach with a genuine passion for early years
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
