Job Description
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will support high-quality childcare and EYFS learning within a nursery setting based in West Kensington, Greater London, W14. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, or Level 3 Childcare Practitioner with a strong background in Nursery (EYFS) who is confident supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, development, and daily nursery routines.
The setting provides early years care and education within a safe, nurturing, and engaging nursery environment. You will be part of a supportive childcare team focused on creating positive learning experiences, supporting children’s confidence, and helping every child learn and develop through play, exploration, and structured EYFS activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room and wider setting
- Deliver engaging EYFS-based activities and learning experiences
- Promote children’s learning, development, confidence, and wellbeing
- Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating childcare environment
- Support safeguarding, welfare, health, and safety standards
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to observations, records, and nursery documentation
- Work collaboratively with the wider early years team
- Support inclusive, child-centred practice across the nursery
- Maintain high standards of professional communication and care
Requirements
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
- Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification aligned with EYFS expectations
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or within an early years childcare setting
- Background in Nursery (EYFS)
- Ability to support EYFS learning, safeguarding, child development, and nursery routines
- Warm, caring, professional, and child-focused communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider nursery team
