Introduction:
We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a well-established nursing home in Mansfield. This is a senior clinical role offering the opportunity to lead nursing practice on shift, support staff development, and maintain high standards of care within a supportive and well-structured service.
The Role:
- Provide visible clinical leadership across the nursing home, acting as a role model for best practice.
- Oversee care planning, medication administration, and clinical documentation in line with NMC and CQC standards.
- Support, mentor, and guide nursing and care staff to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care.
- Monitor residents’ clinical needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Work closely with the management team to maintain compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration – essential.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, Deputy Manager, or similar role within a nursing home setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in leading teams.
- Good understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance.
- A calm, professional, and supportive leadership style.
