We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven care home leader to take full operational responsibility for a service committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
You will be supported by an established provider with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and staff development, giving you the autonomy to lead while having the backing to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the care home team to deliver outstanding residential care
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies
- Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, budgets, occupancy, and care quality
- Promote a positive, values-led culture focused on dignity, respect, and person-centred care
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager / Home Manager within residential care
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection processes
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Confident leadership style with excellent people management skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
