Introduction
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established care home in Dover, Kent, supporting adults within a residential care setting. This is a senior leadership role for a confident CQC Registered Manager / Care Home Manager who can drive quality, compliance, and staff development while maintaining a warm, person-centred culture.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the care home, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong governance, and full compliance with CQC regulations.
You will provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams, embed best practice, and create an environment where residents receive safe, dignified, and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of the care home, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining full regulatory compliance, inspections, audits, and governance standards.
- Take accountability for safeguarding, risk management, incident reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strong, visible leadership—coaching, mentoring, and developing your staff team.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, training, supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and workforce planning to meet service needs.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, social services, and external professionals.
- Ensure high standards of care planning, documentation, and person-centred practice.
- Manage budgets, resources, KPIs, and operational performance.
- Champion a culture of dignity, respect, inclusion, and quality across the service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager / Care Home Manager / Home Manager within a residential, learning disability, or supported living setting.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.
- Confident leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing audits, safeguarding, governance, and quality improvement.
- Ability to manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and operational performance effectively.
Pay & Benefits:

Working Hours
